Which Groups are currently demonised in your Society? [Self Reflection]

At all times in history there are certain scapegoats. Usually these groups are blamed for the woes experienced throughout a nation or area. Depressions, recessions, lack of employment. Groups of people have frequently found themselves to be ‘the reason why’.
These scapegoats may come and go such as in moral panics. Or the same group may find themselves ostracise time and time again such as European Jewish and Muslim communities.
Which groups do you frequently find are blamed by newspapers and politicians. Does their delivery seem familiar to past race baiters? It’s always valuable to develop critical thinking, especially if one wants to think more Sociologically.
