History is vast, wide, and overall dictated by winners of wars. A natural disaster, a war or movement, may be valued highly by some groups whilst others may view the same event as insignificant.
This question can be explored as a group, where you can explore the diversity of your network. Or alone, where you can explore your own experiences to events completely out of your control.
Either way, you’ll slowly be developing your Sociological Imagination.
