Ethnic minorities are often seeking to find new platforms to stay up to date with BME developments. Black & British is one such organisation which is attempting to bridge this gap in the market.
What does the platform seek to do?
Highlight positive #blackandbritish influences across the UK from the past to the present day.
How?
They utilise Twitter by regularly tweeting on Black events which are taking place in the UK, developments within the black community, and highlighting current inequalities the black community are facing.
As they say ‘There are many projects all over the UK that we will make our audience aware of. While we will create some original content, a good portion of our work will signpost you to these various projects and the great people working on them.’
